Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. We keep it simple — we collect only what's necessary to run the app.
1. Who We Are
MyFinance PH is a personal finance tracking web application accessible at leoudev.github.io/Leou-FinancialTracker. The app is independently developed and operated.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following information when you use MyFinance PH:
- Google Account Info — When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. We do not receive or store your Google password.
- Financial Data You Enter — Transaction records, amounts, categories, dates, and budget information that you manually input or upload via Excel. This data is stored securely in our database.
- Device Data — A session token is stored in your browser's localStorage to keep you logged in. This never leaves your device.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to provide and improve the app:
- To authenticate your identity via Google Sign-In
- To store and display your personal financial data
- To keep your session active so you don't need to log in repeatedly
- To ensure your data is private and only accessible by you
We do not sell, share, or disclose your data to any third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your financial data is stored in Supabase, a secure cloud database. Access is protected by:
- Row Level Security (RLS) — your data is only accessible when you are authenticated as yourself
- HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
- Google OAuth 2.0 for secure authentication — we never handle your password
- A 6-digit PIN stored as a SHA-256 hash on your device only
5. Data You Control
You have full control over your data:
- You can delete any transaction at any time from within the app
- You can export your data as a CSV file at any time
- You can request full deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at galileouuu@gmail.com
6. Third-Party Services
MyFinance PH uses the following third-party services:
- Google OAuth — for authentication
- Supabase — for secure data storage
- GitHub Pages — for app hosting
Each of these services has their own privacy policies which we encourage you to review.
7. Cookies & Local Storage
We use browser localStorage (not cookies) to store:
- Your session expiry timestamp — so you stay logged in for 8 hours
- Your hashed PIN — stored only on your device, never sent to our servers
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics tools.
8. Children's Privacy
MyFinance PH is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
